Many people from around the world are drawn to Sedona by the lore of the “Vortex”, the name associated with a powerful energy site. They arrive hoping to find the transcendent experiences that these sites are rumored to provide. Visitors scour the red-rock hillsides and hike deep into wooded canyons seeking an encounter with that famous vortex energy. What is it that they find, exactly – and what is a “vortex” supposed to ‘do’?
The most accurate thing that can be said about what’s going on in Sedona is…no one really knows for sure. However, we have all had experiences beyond the realm of the 5 senses that we cannot measure or prove in a tangible way, which we describe as “real”. We describe it as real, because we experience it.
